Human Table Football Events in UK

1) THE regular football season might be over, but some unusual soccer action took place in Winchester
With an inflatable arena, metal poles and a yellow ball, ¡®human table football¡¯ came to the grounds of Weeke Primary School.
The event took place on Sunday, May 29, and featured several teams from across the Winchester district.
It was designed to raise money for the Winchester Churches Nightshelter in Jewry Street.
And it turned out to be a ¡®home win¡¯ as a team drawn from people staying at the nightshelter won the contest.
Helter Shelter, as they were known, won a penalty shootout and scored more goals than anybody else.
The nightshelter is now counting the proceeds of the event, and has thanked Weeke Primary School for the use of its site.

2) STAFF at Basildon¡¯s Festival Leisure Park will host a human table football five-a-side tournament in aid of cancer.
The annual event will be held on June 26, in aid of Everyman ¨C the UK¡¯s male cancer charity.
The Basildon leisure venue is still encouraging organisations, friends, families and tenants to create their team and register for a chance to win a £500 cash prize.
Participants must be over the age of 12 and a maximum of 32 teams can play.
Teams already limbering up for the event include Southend Rugby Club, McDonalds, Liquid Nightclub, Hollywood Bowl and J.T.S Printers.
Entry fee is £25 per team.,
